Industrial Swage Block:
Prior to our defining types of swage blocks their were no specific categories. Blocks were blocks.
However, there are technical and historic groups that blocks can be organized into.
An industrial block is one with nothing but simple geometric shapes on the edges and numerous cored holes in the body.
The edge features usualy include hexes, 90° V's and half rounds.
The cored holes usualy consist of graduated squares, rounds and sometimes but not always, rectangles.
These were designed in the modern era for industrial shops in the era when they made a great deal of forged hardware.
